For those of you who were not informed here is what happened to Bella with the pictures.

Hello All,

I thought I should inform you all on what has happened to Bella. Last week (sept. 11 of course)we went horse riding with our neighbors. A day Bella has be trying to plan for a long long time. She was so excited! She was all decked out in her cowgirl clothes, hat and boots. She took Cruise for a ride around the arena. We are all laughing how he was barely moving. Bella tried kicking him to go faster but he continued to mosey along. When she was done we wanted to get pictures. So they came over to the fence by where we were standing. Cruise started eating the grass along the fence line. So Bryan decided to move him away so he would put his head up for the picture instead of down, eating the grass. For some reason he did not like that and he started to stand up on his back legs. It looked as though he was going to go back down but poor Bella was hanging on for dear life. We think that might have pulled him off balance and he began to fall backwards. As that was happening Bella fell off and on the way down hit her head on the fence which then flung her head forward and cut her mouth. And then the horse fell on top of her. Justin ran to the fence and was pushing the horse up off of Bella, and then trying to squeeze her through the fence. She said "I never knew horses were that heavy!" Her mouth was all bloody, she said her head and arm hurt. We took her to the car and noticed her arm already swollen and changing color. We thought she probably broke her arm. So we took her to McKay Dee hospital where they took scans and ex rays and all that good stuff. They decided to call Primary Children's hospital to see what they thought. After looking things over they decided that it would be best to have her life flighted to Primary's. So Bella got to ride in a Helicopter. The ER nurse on the helicopter said she was so brave and that she had the cutest boots. We spent 5 days down there, where we learned she has a depressed fracture in her lower left skull (close to her brain but not affecting it). Her neck is messed up, but luckily not broken. She has a neck brace on that she'll wear for a few more weeks, then will have to have physical therapy. Her wrist was not broken just a bad sprain. All in all we were extremely blessed. Everyone at the hospital kept telling us just how lucky we were, that when they see these types of accidents, that they are always much worse. Thank You Everyone for your prayers, calls, presents, watching Sage and Gabby, cleaning my house, coming to see Bella in the hospital and the yummy food. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I'm so sorry I have not been able to call you all back, things have been a little crazy this week trying to find the right doses and we decided to give her, her own room. But your calls and text messages have made a difference. Again thank you so much for loving and supporting me and my family. I will try to get you all called soon.

Love,
Kim

This is the horse leaning down to eat the grass just before he reared up. We were all done riding and wanted to get some pictures. Bryan moved the horse just a bit so he would put his head up for the picture.

Right before they life flighted her. She was so Swollen.

This was in the NicU.

An update now on Bella is, she is doing GREAT!!We have been so blessed! She seems to be back to normal, playing soccer and dance. She is doing great in school and loves playing with her friends. We go back to the doctor in a few months to see how her head is healing, but as far as we can tell she seems perfect. How thankful we are to our Heavenly Father who has blessed us time and time again.

Father's Day Present

This is what I made for Justin for Father's Day. It is a digital scrapbook page that I created and printed out. Then I glued it to a painted stretched canvas board. I thought he needed something cute to put on his desk at work. Happy Father's Day JP, we love ya.
